Brief History
Elliot Chapleo
Direct Roofing was started by our managing director, Mr. Elliot Chapleo, over ten years ago. Mr. Chapleo’s involvement in the roofing industry goes back many years before that having been the owner of a successful cedar mill operating out of Maple Ridge. His commitment to providing the customer with quality service and products have placed Direct Roofing at the top of many peoples list.
Robert Oakley
Robert joined the management team of Direct in 2017. Robert has been involved in roofing for over thirty-two years, and is the third generation in his family to be in the industry.
Having started out in England, Robert successfully ran his own company for over twenty years. His knowledge and expertise led him to work for a broad range of customers.
Since arriving in Canada in 2008 Robert has been involved with many large and complex projects, ranging from sports arenas, local and federal government buildings, to single and multi family dwellings.
Robert is a certified installer for many roofing products, and is also a red seal ticketed journeyman. He hopes to gain his RRO certification in the future also.
